The Work
The works Alacrán, Guak, and ICE are part of a series inspired by cultural migration narratives, exploring themes of labor, identity struggles, and appropriation. Within this context, the series reflects on the tension between chaos and order at a conceptual level.
Guak invites direct interaction, offering viewers an intimate, tactile experience. By holding and engaging with the three-dimensional forms, the audience can sense their texture, weight, and scale, fostering a deeper connection to the themes embodied in the work.
